About Gardening Tools Garden
Hi, I’m Spring Mei — welcome to Gardening Tools Garden.
I started this site for one simple reason: I killed a lot of houseplants before I learned how to keep them alive, and I wished someone had explained it all in plain English.
My plant journey began 7 years ago with a single Calathea. Like a lot of new plant parents, I overwatered it, put it in the wrong spot, and watched it slowly give up. Instead of quitting, I got stubborn. A few more casualties later, I now care for a collection of 40+ indoor plants — and most of them are genuinely thriving.
Everything on this site comes from that hands-on experience. When I write about why a peace lily droops, how to get rid of spider mites, or how to care for a calathea, it’s because I’ve dealt with it on my own plants. I cross-check the details against trusted sources like university extension programs, but the real-world tips — and the mistakes to avoid — are all mine.
Here’s what you’ll find on Gardening Tools Garden:
- Honest, step-by-step care guides for popular houseplants
- Troubleshooting help for common problems — yellow leaves, root rot, pests, drooping
- No-jargon advice written for real people, not botanists
My goal is to help you keep your indoor plants healthy and actually enjoy them — whatever your experience level.
Thanks for stopping by. I’m glad you’re here.
